Welcome, and thanks for checking out PROPAGANDA New Orleans. You can call us PROPAGANDA, NO-PROP or NOLA PROP. We’re flexible like that.
Our savvy friends & readers know advertising when they see it, and boy, is it everywhere. Everyone is hustling to get a piece of that “curated/carefully edited” digital media pie. Brands are our BFFs, & the backs of our shirts have THIS SPACE FOR RENT printed on them. New media is for sale & it has already sold out. So, let’s just call media, both in its traditional & current state, what it is; propaganda. It’s not going away. Let’s embrace it, nurture it, & make it something beautiful.
Naturally, we have an agenda. Our goal here at PROPAGANDA is to provide content that will challenge and provoke. It’s media for the people, by the people. We will bring original, progressive news & entertainment in various formats, including our bi-weekly video podcast. (You can watch our promo video here; we would love for you to subscribe, share & give it the ol’ thumbs up.) The core of not only our media, but our advertising, will be centered on local creatives & small businesses in an innovative manner that promotes & empowers.
We are officially launching PROPAGANDA at the New Orleans Book Fair & Media Expo on Saturday, November 17th. It’s free, open to all ages, and certain to be a ton of fun. Visit our table & say hello to the team. We will also have bribes; ”like” us on Facebook – facebook.com/NOLAprop - and/or tweet at us on Twitter – twitter.com/NOLAprop - for a sweet treat. First come, first served, of course.
We hope to hear from you soon.
