5th Annual NOLA Eats King Cake Tasting Party

Hosted by NOLA Eats and presented by PROPAGANDA New Orleans, the 5th Annual NOLA Eats King Cake Tasting Party will be held on Saturday, February 9th at 6 p.m. This is the BIGGEST public king cake party in New Orleans, where party-goers will be able to indulge in and vote for king cakes from the best bakeries in and around the city. Guests will enjoy live music and prize giveaways from local businesses in the beautiful Ramp Room at Little Gem Saloon. Prizes include gift certificates from Booty’s Street Food, Lux Salon Blends, Fat Hen Grocery, a Carnival Gift Set of locally-made Haybandz, plus festive hair chalk from Abeille NOLA, and a handcrafted king cake jewelry set by Flambeaux Design Company.

Located on the corner of S. Rampart & Poydras (445 S. Rampart St.), a full service restaurant awaits guests downstairs, while the Ramp Room itself boasts gorgeous interiors, wrap-around balcony, and a beautiful bar area. Live entertainment for the king cake party will be provided by vocalist Robin Barnes and guitarist Matthew Berman. Special Guest Judges include fashion designer and Louisiana native Amanda DeLeon, Susan Ford, President and publisher of Louisiana Kitchen & Culture magazine, and restaurateur Robert LeBlanc. Special dance performance by The Star-Steppin’ Cosmonaughties of Krewe de Lune!
